Carol Jean (Pipkin) Klasen

Mesquite, NV - Carol Jean Klasen, 80, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2018, in Mesquite, NV.  She was born January 13, 1932 in California to Bert Pipkin and Imogene Crawford.  She married Joseph B. Klasen in April, 1972. Carol was one week short of turning 81 when she passed away, having had a long year in 2017, with life changing heart troubles.  

Carol is survived by her husband; Joseph,son; Kirby Morrison (Alaina),son; Joseph Klasen, Jr., daughter; Karen Moran (Bill), daughter; Cindy Dvorak, daughter; Darlene Carriage, grandchildren; Mike, Derrick, Travis, Wesley, Kyle, Taylor, Mitchell, Justin, T.J., Jennifer, Melissa, Christina, Mathew, and so many wonderful great grandchildren.

Services will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Virgin Valley Mortuary, 320 East Old Mill Road, Mesquite, NV.  The viewing will be from 9:30 - 10:45 a.m., funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. and following, Grave Side services will be at the Mesquite Municipal Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Mesquite Veteran’s Center, 840 Hafen Lane, Mesquite, NV, at 1:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Veteran’s Center.  The family invites you to leave a message or memory in their “Guest Book”.
