Connie Sprague

Connie LeRoy Sprague, age 75, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born August 19, 1942 in Heber City, Utah to Cornelius LeRoy and Dorothy Burgener Tinney. On August 20, 1960 she married Merlin Henry Sprague in Las Vegas, Nevada. They were later sealed in the St. George LDS Temple.

Connie grew up in Heber City and Salt Lake City, Utah. She settled into Las Vegas at a young age and stayed to raise her family. Connie loved being a homemaker, playing with babies and being with her family. She enjoyed ceramics and other homemaking projects. She found joy in serving others.

Survivors include her husband, Merlin; two sons and one daughter: Robert (Wendy); LeRoy (Dayna); Carla Clemens all of Las Vegas, NV; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and one brother, Ralph (Mona) Litster of St. George, UT. She was preceded in death by one brother, Ronald.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 11 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Palmhurst Chapel, 221 Lorenzi Street, Las Vegas, NV. Visitation will be from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. prior to services at the chapel. Interment will follow in the Logandale Cemetery at 3:30 p.m. in Logandale, Nevada.
