Dallas Mories Obituary

Dallas Marvell Mories, 66, passed away on March 16, 2019 in Mesquite, NV. Dallas was born in Murray, UT on October 6, 1952 to Walter Robert Mories and Ann Marie Devey. He married Rosemary Dahmen in Elko, NV on March 7, 1976.

Dallas was raised in Spanish Fork, UT, and upon graduating high school, he joined the U.S. Navy. He served honorably in the Vietnam War. After serving in the Reserves for another two years, Dallas worked for the State of Utah for thirty-three years. Dallas was always willing to serve others. He did that best by his talents in building and fixing. He enjoyed woodworking, whether a table, cabinets, or a birdhouse. Dallas enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, riding ATV’s, hunting, or camping. He did what he wanted, and that included eating ice cream every day he could. Dallas loved his family, and was so happy when his best friend, his great-grandson Taige arrived. They spent lots of time together, and Dallas was able to impart his love of baseball hats to Taige, so the two never left home without one.

Dallas is survived by his wife; Rosemary Mories, his daughter; Kristen Mories, his granddaughter; Mykinzie Perry, and his great-grandson; Taige Nicholson. He is preceded in death by his parents.
