Darrell Miller Obituary

Mesquite, NV - Darrell George Miller, 89, passed away at his home, on January 27, 2018, in Beaver Dam, AZ. He was born December 3, 1928, in Rexburg, Idaho to Roger Miller and Juanita Larson-Miller. He was a life partner of 25 years to Carol Maloney.

Darrell and Carol had shared residence in Lander, Wyoming and in Arizona. They recently reside in Beaver Dam, Arizona. Prior to moving to Arizona, they were residents of St. George, Utah. While in Wyoming, Darrell enjoyed hiking and exploring nature in the mountains. Their time there was his favorite home. Darrell graduated from Rick’s (BYU) college with degrees in counseling and teaching. While working for State Farm insurance, he initiated a Fraud and Arson Unit, where he became their special agent in this field. He enjoyed being a professional Boy Scout leader. He studied and lived the Bible.

Darrell is survived by his sister; Colleen, his two brothers; Roger and Lauren, his four children; Mark, Jan, Cynthia and Crystal, and many grand and great-grandchildren.

At this time, there is no service scheduled. The family invites you to leave a message or memory in their "Guest Book" at www.virginvalleymortuary.com.

"The day has come when my physical body has surrendered it’s fight for life, my soul now rests within the Lord in a high mountain meadow overlooking his entire Splendor. Take my ashes and scatter them so the flowers may grow and life can continue. If by chance you can wish to remember me, do it with a smile and a simple deed or kindness to another person. I want my family and my loved ones to know that I’m "good to go" and with the Lord..."
