Dad I've truly tried, and I'm sorry... I know you did your very best!!! I learned even though you didn't get to see, I'm only me GOD gave us all different struggles, I fight mine daily. I've become an exellant truck driver, and the hardest worker, I've built many a home's and stayed as humble as I can... Against all odds, I'll continue to fight, I'm an Eagle dad, I absolutely fly alone. I found my mom dad like I told you I would, thanks for the oysters, i still think they're gross but for sustenance they're o.k.!!! Every one has left cause I'm not good enough and that's ok I'll keep on keeping on, you thought me to fight and I'll always remember the father's day gift. I love you, please say hello to CHIEF PAVEEZO DICK that's my Great Grand Father... Connie I dont know you but thanks for taking care of him in his ailing years, You are the best. Smile all know he was a cut apart.. if I offended you in my Facebook post I'm sorry Iknow better. I was completely lost when I heard the news All my love DAD...

Connie, we were so sorry to see that Gary had passed away. Will you be staying back east or will you come out here again. We know how difficult of a time this is. You have taken good care of him and you will be blessed. We know you will be lonely. We send you our thoughts and prayers and hope you will receive the comfort and strength you need at this time. We would love to hear from you. We love you. Take care. Gary & Kay Batchelor

Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of your loved one, Gary. It breaks our hearts when death separates us from the ones we love so much. The Bible assures us that God sees our pain and sadness and has promised that soon, "death will be swallowed up forever."(Isaiah 25:8) He will heal our broken hearts by resurrecting our dear loved ones to life again.(Acts 24:15) Until then, I hope the wonderful memories of Gary and these promises from God comfort you in the days to come.

Where do I begin to explain what Gary Abbott meant to me . He was my best friend April Abbott Dad but he never treated me like I was just some kid from down the street . Watching him love his wife and home and teach his children different things and facts of life every time I was there amazed me . He always provided words of wisdom and let me be myself in his home . I hurt for the family because he was truly loved and truly a great man . Peace with you all at this time of need . I love you all.

What a wonderful man and what a shock to hear of his passing this week. Brother Bailey gave such a beautiful dedication of Brother Abbott's life in all aspects such as scouting and the adversity he faced with faith and enduring dedication to the gospel. I always appreciated how he made one of my son's feel so worthwhile in providing him and now I recognize the special connection to him I felt. I was also raised in Las Vegas and I have family from Minnesota as well.
