Gerald L Ransdell

Jerry L. Ransdell, age 72, Mesquite, NV joined his "Heavenly Father" on September 22, 2017, after years of valiantly fighting cancer.

Jerry was born September 17, 1945, in Red Lodge, MT, to Pierina Boggio Phillips. He met his wife, Karen L. (Swope) Ransdell in Las Vegas, NV and they wed on December 1, 1984.

Jerry had a successful career in Real Estate, but his passion was golf. He was a long time member at the Oasis Golf Course. He was an exceptional athlete, competing in softball, javelin and bowling. Those close to him also knew he was an excellent chef.

Jerry is survived by his mother, Pierina Phillips, wife Karen, sons, Steve J. Ransdell and Bonnie, of Elko, NV and Ryan C. Yost, of Mesquite, NV. Also, brothers J. Richard Ransdell and Donna, Jim Ransdell, Bob Phillips and Julie, Bill Phillips and Carla, Fred Phillips and Joyce, Tom Phillips and sister Jeannie Purcell and Dennis. Grandchildren; Karlie Francisco and Spencer, Jared Ransdell, Aaron Ransdell, Cierra Ethridge, Mason Yost and Asher Yost.

A life so fully lived will be celebrated on October 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Mesquite United Methodist Church, 420 W. Pioneer Blvd., Mesquite, NV. Refreshments will be served following the memorial.
