Our thoughts and prayers are with you! I just found out today from Judy Walker, she works at Wendy's and we had lunch there. I'm sorry we did not know sooner. We loved your mother and father so much. Your family was such a big part of our life here in Rock Springs. I know your parents loved each other and you girls so much. You were so blessed! We will always remember your mother! We love you Sharon & Susan.

We have appreciated the wonderful friendship we had with Jack and Ruth for many years. We loved her contagious smile and laugh and her optimism. We shared so many good times together. We loved going for rides with her and Jack and playing games with them -- just visiting and spending time together. We have many gifts from them in our home which we have and will continue to cherish. One of Ruth's special gifts was her delicious fudge. She found out how much LaVar enjoyed it and until they moved to Mesquite always had a large plate of fudge for him for Christmas and his birthday - and sometimes just because she was Ruth and loved to do kind thoughtful things. I always thought Ruth made the best fudge in the world, and LaVar says he KNOWS she did! We missed Jack when he left us, and we will miss Ruth too. We love you Ruth forever, and are so appreciative of the many good times, fun conversations, and especially the special friendship we shared over the years. Love, LaVar and Mary Sweat

Jack and Ruth......I can honestly say that you were to me what every growing young man wishes he could have. A constant and shining light for right and wrong, an ever listening ear for what ever I needed to talk about, a source of strength for times when I needed it and most of all a loving embrace and a firm handshake that always told me how much you loved me.
I know your together again, out of pain and sickness and most importantly your happy, and for that I am grateful. I love you both!
