Carl Richard Tomlinson

Carl Richard “Rick” Tomlinson, 60, of Overton, NV, passed away on July 2, 2026. Rick was born on July 21, 1965 in San Pedro, CA to Carl Whitmer Tomlinson Jr and Jorgi Ann Weingarten. He worked as a roofer and carpenter for many years. Rick was a kind, generous, and funny man who faced life’s challenges with resilience. He loved his family and friends deeply and was always willing to help anyone he could, often putting others before himself. He cherished time spent with loved ones, riding, and sharing laughs and good company with his loyal dog Lucy by his side. He is survived by his daughter, Tabatha Tomlinson; his girlfriend, Elizabeth Perkins; his siblings, Kelly Biederman (Travis), Trina (Kevin) Peterson, Stacy (Rob) Franz, Tracy Knickerbocker; and numerous nieces and nephews. Rick was preceded in death by his parents and his nephew, Joshua Allen Freeman, Half brother Clayton Baker, Brother-in-law John Biederman and his beloved dog Lucy.
