Carol Hardy Reber (90) passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on September 2, 2020 in Mesquite, Nevada. She was born September 1, 1930 in St. George, Utah to Mark and Delilah Tobler Hardy. She married Robert DeMurren Reber in the St. George Temple on September 24, 1949.
As a lifetime resident of Mesquite, Carol was a ministering angel to all who knew her. She never missed a sporting event or any opportunity to support her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Carol made everyone she talked to feel loved, important, and special. She was a hard worker and the glue that held the family together. She helped her husband, keeping the books, and helping in business ventures. Carol had a caring and compassionate spirit that always had a kind word and a smile for everyone she came across.
Survivors include one son and three daughters: Deon (Gilbert) Felshaw; Myrna Reber; Bevan (Donna) Reber; Gayla (Charles) Clem all of Mesquite; daughter in law, Cindy Reber of Las Vegas, NV; 26 grandchildren; 49 great grandchildren and one brother, Kent (Dawnie) Hardy of Winchester Hills, UT. Carol was welcomed in heaven by her husband, DeMurren; her daughter, Sandy; her son, Layton; one great granddaughter and two brothers.
A public visitation will be held in her honor on Friday, September 11, 2020 from 6 - 8 p.m. at the Mesquite LDS Stake Center, 100 N. Arrowhead, Mesquite, NV. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, the funeral service will be private.
