Caroline Perkins Reber, age 94, of Logandale, NV, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 25, 2024 in St George, UT, surrounded by loved ones. Caroline was born in Overton on October 13, 1929 to Anthony Perkins and Effie (Huntsman) Perkins. Caroline was married and sealed to Gerald “Slick” Reber on February 27, 1952 in the St. George, UT Temple. She loved to tell stories of growing up in the upper muddy on the ranch where she would ride horses to the warm springs with her siblings. Caroline was the only girl in her family who learned to milk the cows. She wanted to help her father so he and her brothers could go deer hunting. She always wanted to help her father who she loved very much. She spent 34 years away from Moapa Valley in Indian Springs, NV while her husband Gerald Reber worked for the state. They raised their five children there before retiring and moving back home to Logandale.
Caroline is survived by her three daughters and two sons; Janet Tolster, Debbie Fawson (Brent Fawson), Monty Reber, and Garth Reber (Vicki Reber) of Las Vegas, and Kathy Zavala of Logandale. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her five brothers, four sisters, a son-in-law, a daughter-in-law, and one grandson.
Viewing services will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2024, 5-7:00 p.m., at the Moapa Valley Mortuary, 5090 N. Moapa Valley Blvd, Logandale, NV. Viewing services will be held on Monday, March 11, 2024, 9:30-10:30 a.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Logandale, NV Stake Center 2555 N. St. Joseph Street, Logandale, NV, followed by the Funeral service to be held at 11:00 a.m. Graveside services will follow at the Logandale Cemetery, 3220 Lyman Ave, Logandale, NV.
