C. Susan Rose was born on April 23, 1962 in Perrington, TX to Marilyn Gaines and Chalmer Fluharty. She was raised in Las Vegas, NV where she was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In her youth, she was a great example of missionary work and that continued throughout her life.
As a youth, she was actively involved in Girl Scouts and was a lead in high school drama. After high school, she married her eternal companion, Lindsey Thomas Rose, in the Salt Lake City Temple. She was a faithful and devoted disciple of Jesus Christ where she served as a compassionate leader/cub master in Cub Scouts for many years.
Susan was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by her. We ask that you remember her not for the way her life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Although Susan’s physical presence may no longer grace our lives, her spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. May her memory be a blessing, and may we carry forth her legacy of love and compassion in all that we do.
Her memory lives on through her loving husband, Lindsey; her children, Landon (Heather) and Breanna (Kyler); her grandchildren Alissa, Logan, Paxton, Chalmerie, and Roxanne; her mother Marilyn; her sister Kristi (Norm); and her best friends Lisa and Smokey. She is preceded in death by her father Chalmer; her father-in-law, Loye; mother-in-law, Verge; and her Aunt Darla.
Susan will be remembered at a celebration of life at a later date. The family invites you to leave a message or memory in their Guest Book at www.moapavalleymortuary.com.
