Cynthia Lea Taylor

Cynthia Lea Taylor, 78, passed away on January 19, 2026 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Cynthia was born on July 30, 1947 in Monroe, Louisiana to Henry Pinkney Holland and Maggie LeDoris Walker. She married David Marshall Taylor on January 2, 1971 in Houston, Texas.

Cynthia loved to decorate her home and work in her garden. She would make sure David had everything he needed. She worked as a Travel Agent for twenty years. She was a sassy southern lady and would always speak her mind. She was a loving mother and wife, and will be missed.

She is survived by her husband, David Marshall Taylor, Sr.; her children, Wendy Dianne (James) Lorance, David Marshall (Kim) Taylor, Jr., and Steven Lee Taylor; her grandchildren, Jacob Betterbed and Colt Taylor; and her sister, Cecilia (Manning, deceased) Ricketson. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and LeDoris Holland, and her siblings, Jennifer Holland and Rusty Holland.

A viewing will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026 at 9:30-10:00 a.m. at the Boulder City Family Mortuary, 900 Nevada Way, Boulder City, NV 89005, followed by Funeral services at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 S.
