Danielle Nichol Terril, age 39, passed away peacefully Monday, June 9, 2025 at her home in Logandale, NV after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was born June 10, 1985 in Riverside, CA to Jeffery Larry and Deanna Rachel Rebman Sommers. On May 13, 2006 she married Michael Adam Terril in the St. George LDS Temple.
Danielle spent her early years growing up in southern California. She was just 18 months younger than her brother Nate and best friends from the beginning. When Danielle was almost eight years old she got the baby sister she had always wanted, Hannah and they have shared a special bond ever since. Her teenage years were spent in Draper, UT where her love of the Savior Jesus Christ continued to blossom as she attended the temple often with her brother and their close-knit group of friends. Her Sunday afternoons were often filled with giving service as she regularly made cookies and visited widows with a neighborhood friend. She moved with her family to her mom’s hometown of Moapa Valley as she entered her senior year of high school. She attended school at Utah Valley University. Danielle and Mike enjoyed the early years of their marriage living in several places as they worked and attended school, including St. George, UT; Rexburg, ID and Bunkerville, NV. In 2012 they were able to come home to Logandale and settle down permanently surrounded by extended family. She loved working side by side with her dad in the family real estate business and having the opportunity to serve and help others. Danielle’s greatest joy was in being a mother and she felt blessed to be able to raise their six children in the sacred Moapa Valley.
Danielle was Christlike in her nature. She was full of light and joy. She was a talented musician, but didn’t cherish the spotlight. She was faithful in serving others, often quietly in the background. She loved her husband, serving her children and worshiping in the temple.
Survivors include her husband, Mike; their children: Macy, Brielle, Tyson, Kate, Sadie and Raegan; her parents: Jeff and Deanna Sommers; her in laws: Rob and Lori Terril all of Logandale; grandparents: Carolyn Sommers of Orem, UT; Alan and Amy Terril of Overton, NV; her brother, Nate (Mary Carol) Sommers of Gilbert, AZ and her sister, Hannah (Joshua) Wray of Malad, ID.
