Elizabeth Jane Mitchell
Elizabeth Jane Mitchell, age 90, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2009 in Mesquite, Nevada. She was born October 15, 1918 in Detroit, Michigan to Norman and Hazel Haight Rumrill. Elizabeth married Donald Mitchell on February 10, 1940 in Napoleon, Ohio. Donald preceded her in death on March 7, 1965.
Elizabeth moved to Mesquite from Pacific Beach, California to be with her son, Philip. She lived in Mesquite for almost six years.
Elizabeth loved music and she especially loved to dance. She loved to write letters and exchange pictures with her family members who lived in other parts of the U.S.
She is survived by her son Philip of Mesquite; granddaughters Carrie Brechtelsbauer and Simone Phillips; and great grandchildren Reese, Paige, Cannon and great grandchild Cruz, who is due to be born in seven weeks.
