With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Holly Jean Leavitt, our loving and devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Holly went home to our Father in Heaven Saturday, August 27, 2022, due to complications from diabetes. She left us while sleeping peacefully at her residence in Overton, Nevada. Holly was in her 35th year. She was born September 11, 1986, in Las Vegas, Nevada, and went to the home of William and Valerie Leavitt soon after. She was later adopted by them and sealed to be with them for eternity. Holly had two sisters (Claire Elizabeth Leavitt-Scott and Malinda Ann DiMambro) and one brother (Christopher Job Leavitt).
Most importantly, Holly was the mother of Nathan Dewayne Chow (son of Dewayne Chow) and Jentrie Elisabeth Harvey (daughter of Matthew Harvey). Nathan and Jentrie were indeed the love and light of Holly’s life. She dedicated everything she had to them and loved them endlessly. Holly is survived by her children, her parents, and her siblings. At the time of her passing, Holly worked for the Clark County School District at the High School from which she graduated. She enjoyed her work and loved associating with the staff and students there. Holly exemplified unselfish service and unconditional love to everyone she interacted with. Everyone who knew Holly felt uplifted by her genuine caring and concern for their well-being in many ways. The significant challenges Holly experienced never stopped her from sharing love and light. She was always ready to uplift and support everyone around her. She was known for her smile that brightened countless peoples’ days, even when facing challenges of her own. She was a friend to all and loved openly and without judgment.
