Jason Duane Cornelius, 50, passed away on April 6, 2026 in Overton, NV. Jason was born on July 25, 1975 in Phoenix, AZ to Richard Duane Cornelius and Elizabeth Kay Blackston.

Jason worked at Lhoist North American in Henderson, NV as a Hydrator Operator. He loved riding motorcycles, and watching NASCAR and Supercross. He loved to go fishing and hunting. He was a big fan of watching football and going golfing. He loved the family vacations to June Lake and Crowley.

Jason is survived by his son, Tyler Cornelius; his mother, Liz Leming; his father, Rick (Margaret) Cornelius; his siblings, Nathan Cornelius and Rachelle Charlon; his girlfriend, Ashley Petritz; his uncles, Rick Blackston, Ronnie Blackston, and Melvin Cornelius; his aunt, Tammy Kinnan; his nieces and nephews, Rebecca Turner, Jayden Shroyer, and Chloe Charlon; many cousins; and several childhood friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Artie Blackston, Kay Hall, Marvin Cornelius, and Gladys Cornelius; and his aunt, Debbie Cornelius.
