Jerry Lee Blades, age 63, died Tuesday, September 29, 2026, in Murray, Utah. He was born October 3, 1962, in Berkley, California to Errol Duane and Judy Kay Chism Blades. On April 20th, 1985 he married Anna Marie Garcia in Gardnerville, NV. They had one daughter and were later divorced.
Jerry grew up in Gardnerville, Nevada. His family spent a lot of time at South Tahoe. He moved to Las Vegas, Nevada to live with his mother for his final years of high school, graduating from Vo-Tech. He later moved back to Gardnerville where he launched a successful career in construction. After working in a cabinet shop for several years, he purchased the shop and became a successful businessman. He later evolved his business to build over 200 homes in Northern Nevada.
Jerry enjoyed horseback riding as a youth, later he loved being outside, water skiing, shooting and exploring the mountains. As a young man, he was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Over the last 20 years, he has rekindled his love for the gospel.
Survivors include his only child, Tiffany (Shawn) Lucchesi of Henderson, NV; her son, Ryat; his step-siblings, Crystal (Sean) Buscay of Minden, NV and Jimmy DeLong of Carson City, NV; his father, Errol (Sue) Blades of Carson City, NV and his mother, Judy (Therral) Jackson of Logandale, NV.
Funeral services will be held in the Logandale West Stake Center, 3245 N. Moapa Valley Blvd., Logandale, NV on Saturday, October 17, 2026. Visitation will be from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. prior to services at the chapel. Interment will follow in the Logandale Cemetery.
