Kathleen Elaine Zimmerman, age 81, died Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at her home in Logandale, Nevada. She was born December 18, 1943 in Doylestown, Pennsylvania to Paul Asher and Charlotte Mary Whartnaby Robbins. On November 10, 1962 she married A. Daniel Wendig. They had three children and were later divorced. She married Lee Myers in Pennsylvania. His work in the military brought her and her young family to Tucson, Arizona and finally to Moapa Valley in 1978. They later divorced and she was married to Randy Zimmerman for a short time before they divorced.

Kathy worked as a waitress in her early years as she supported her young family. She later enjoyed as career working for a title company. She became an advocate for mobile home owners, chairing an association fighting for property rights in Clark County, Nevada. She loved horses and goats and was very proud of her twin Arabian colts. She enjoyed painting and artworks by others. She loved exploring the desert and camping. She always remembered fondly her friendships and adventures with trusted friends, Jim Browning and Norm Harvey.

Survivors include two sons: Robert “Bobby” (Michele) Wendig of Logandale,NV; Richard of PA; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and one sister in law, Debra Robbins of PA. She was preceded in death by her loving parents and her daughter, Heidi Commeau.
