Laurie Ellen Axe, age 53, passed away Friday, February 19, 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born September 23, 1962 in Downey, California to Wayne Lee and Joan Caroline McCormick Paschal.
Laurie grew up in Orange County, California until moving to Las Vegas as a young teenager. She raised her family there until settling into Overton, Nevada ten years ago. She enjoyed working as a bartender and as a chef in the restaurant industry. She loved to cook and feed the neighborhood. She will be remembered for her love of others and her infectious smile.
Survivors include two daughters: Anamarie Frye of Las Vegas, NV; Jessica Axe of Henderson, NV; three grandchildren; two brothers: Ben and Holly Paschal of Logandale, NV and Michael Paschal of Milwaukee, OR.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at The Sportsman's Bar.
