Laurie Jon Gaffney

Laurie Jon Gaffney, age 64, born November 18, 1956, on January 6, 2021 the angels called her home to be with the love of her life, Del Sweat who preceded her in death on Mach 29, 2020.  Born to Gayle DeAngelis and John Gaffney in Salt Lake City, Utah.  Survived by her mother Gayle Gaffney; sisters: Deanne (Robert) Starr; Denise (Neil) Sutton; brother, Michael (Lisa) Gaffney; many step children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Laurie was tenacious and fiercely independent.  She had so many challenges in 2020 to overcome.  She fought breast cancer, in the end it was all too much for her.  She was all of 4'11'’ and all of it pure dynamite.  There is a huge hole in our hearts that will never be filled.  Rest in peace! Laurie.  We love you.
