Lila Jean (Hawkins) Brown

Lila J. Brown, age 91, passed away on Saturday April 23, 2022 at her home in Littlefield, AZ.
She was born Oct 13, 1930 in Quincy, Kansas to Lloyd & Elberta Hawkins. She was married to Charlie J. Brown for 42 years.

She was raised in Kansas and spent her early adult life in northern CA, OR & NV.  Nevada is where she met the love of her life, Charlie.  Shortly after their marriage they moved to the island of Kauai, Hawaii.  They jointly built a successful building contractor business as well as a retail lumber company.

Upon retirement, they moved to the US mainland & enjoyed fishing & RV-ing all over the west coast.

She is survived by her 3 children: Susan (Clayton) Smith, AZ; Debbie (Tom)Churchill, CA;
Charles (Michaela) Brown, WA.  She is also survived by her sister, Betty Robinette, OR.  as well as  several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by 3 children: Peggy, Michael, and Linda, as well as her husband Charlie.

Visitation will be held Monday May 2, 2022 at 10 am, followed by a Memorial Service at  11:00 am at the Virgin Valley Mortuary, 310 E. Old Mill Road, Mesquite, NV.
