Linda Dufour

Linda Louise Dufour, age 71, died Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at her home in Overton, Nevada.  She was born February 11, 1949 in Crosby, Minnesota to Roy Lewellen and Madge Ursula Potgeiser Avelsgard.
Linda grew up in Minnesota and Texas.  As a bit of tom boy, she enjoyed working and recreating in traditionally male jobs and hobbies.  She enjoyed racing sports cars as a young adult.  While raising her children, she moved around the United States as she followed work opportunities.  She was one of the first women to work as a welder on high risers in the state of Minnesota.  She worked as a truck driver for many years. She retired to Overton, Nevada in 2013.
Survivors include her son, Cale (Jennifer) Gustaveson-Dufour of Paso Robles, CA; daughter, Jody (Troy) Landberg of MN and three grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by one sister.
