Manuel Juarez-Govea, 80, passed away on March 21, 2023 in Las Vegas, NV. Manny was born on February 13, 1943 in Michoacán, Mexico to Manuel Juarez and Josefa Govea. He loved working with his hands, and always had projects he was doing, like making benches, windmills, and other woodworking. He loved keeping busy. He was proficient in concrete work, doing many projects around the house, even building a swimming pool. He worked in landscaping and maintenance at Magic Mountain Theme Park for twenty-six years. He also was an artist, and loved to draw.
He was a loving husband, father, and stepfather; and grandfather to many. He had a desire to be a better man, and strived to change over his life. He became a devoted Christian, and had a big heart and was always willing to help others.
Manny is survived by his wife, Dewena Stone Juarez; his daughters, Elva and Norma Juarez; his step-children, Gail, Linda, Dixie, Brenda, and Jeff; his twenty-two grandchildren; his thirty-two great grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; his sister; and three brothers. He is preceded in death by his parents; his step-son, Richard, his brother, Jose; and his grandson, Justin.
