Marjorie Ann Holland, 73, passed away on July 24, 2026 in Mesquite, NV. Marjie was born on September 9, 1952 in Las Vegas, NV to Leon G. Willis and Betty J. Whitehead. She worked for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department for nearly two decades as a Crime Scene Investigator, and later as an Investigations Specialist for the Security team at the Hilton in Las Vegas for another two decades. She ran a silk-screen T-shirt business called the Pig Trough for many years. Marjie was gentle and always willing to help others. She loved the many opportunities to serve as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved Family History and working in the Temple. She loved gardening, and would always share the vegetables she grew with others. She was crafty and loved to sew; and loved puzzles.

Marjie is survived by her children, Erin (Justin) Smith and James (Stacie) Holland; her six grandchildren; and her half-sister, Dorianne Neuhart. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Betty Willis.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Overton Chapel, 226 W. Thomas, Overton, NV, with the Funeral at 11:00 a.m. Graveside services will be held at the Pioneer Hill Cemetery.
