Megan Valley Parikh - Talbot

Megan Samantha Parikh Talbot, age 34, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born March 14, 1992, in Pomona, California to Joe Parikh and Caroline Talbot.

Megan was a bright, pure light to her family, her friends, and all who had the blessing of knowing her. Born with Down Syndrome, she carried a rare and precious gift for bringing instant joy to everyone around her. Megan graduated from Moapa Valley High School in Overton, NV in 2014. She was known for her sweet, silly personality, always ready to greet you with her trademark fist bump. Her heart held a special love for animals, and nothing brought her more joy than being with her family. Deeply proud of her role in the household, Megan loved her daily tasks at home. She loved to dance, jump on the trampoline, watch her iPad and listen to music. She enjoyed spending a lot of time with her brother going bowling and to the movies. Megan loved having pretty, manicured nails, and she especially treasured the one-on-one time with her mom as she did them for her. The way she loved her mom was profoundly moving—soft, sincere, and full of devotion. Megan’s radiant smile and gentle kindness have left a space in the hearts of those who loved her—a space that can never be filled.

Survivors include her mom and stepdad, Caroline and Tyler Talbot of Logandale; her brother, Alex Parikh of Las Vegas; her stepsisters: Taryn (Jestin) Waters; Done'e Talbot both of Overton, NV. She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Parikh and two stepbrothers, Shaun and Jace Talbot, her grandparents Harvey and Belva Talbot, Kirit and Sudah Parikh.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 17, 2026, at 7 p.m. at the Moapa Valley Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.
