Join us in remembering Melvin L. "Tex" Etie. He was born 0l/l l/l922 in Houston, Texas and passed away l2/07/2009 in Mesquite, NV after a bout with pneumonia.
Tex served in the Merchant Marines before enlisting in the Navy in WWII where he experienced combat in the Pacific including a kamikaze hit. He was a skilled masonry contractor, owned several restaurants and served as Mayor of Frisco, CO.
