Micheal John Marino, age 71, passed away on August 24th, 2023, at his home in Overton, Nevada. Mike was born on April 25th, 1952, in Salt Lake City, Ut to John J. and Margaret Rose Stevenson Marino. He remarried his love Cindy Davis in Magna, UT on August 19, 2001.

Mike grew up in Magna, Ut where his siblings will forever remember him for his unique and adventurous ideas. He attended Cyprus High, although at the age of 17 he left to enlist in the United States Marine Corps. He proudly served in the Vietnam War until 1972. He enjoyed many different professions such as logging in Oregon, Oregon road crews as a heavy equipment operator, over the road trucker, and spent many years in Wyoming working for Redi Services with Exxon Mobil. His time doing heavy snow removal in the mountains was something he cherished every winter in Wyoming. He loved to garden, where he shared his passion with all his neighbors. He was a man who strived for ways to help others, his time with Cindy in B.A.C.A for eight years was spent helping children. Hitting the highway on his Harley Davidson with his son Dustin, feeling the wind for many long trips. He had a love for anything old and antique, rock picking and collecting petrified wood. He and Cindy moved to Overton, NV in 2017 for retirement. He worked part-time at the Clark County Parks & Rec, driving the van for field trips along with teaching an art class. He spent many hours volunteering for the Senior Center; driving the seniors to and from Dr. appointments, field trips, and to the airport, where he gained friendships and family that will cherish his presence in their life forever. Mike touched the lives of many, people from afar, of all ages, and his memory will burn brightly by all his family and friends for eternity.

Mike is survived by his wife, Cindy Marino; his sons, Dustin Marino, Brandon (Mari) Headrick, Wade Headrick; his grandchildren, Cheyenne (Dan) Schmid, Ashtyn (Derrik Mayhew) Marino, Sierra (Justin Gunyan) Marino, Stetson (Autumn) Marino, Cody Headrick, Brady (Bailey) Headrick, Aspyn Headrick, Dax Headrick, and Dillon Headrick; his great grandchildren, Raenie Headrick, Wakely Headrick, and Reya Headrick; and great grandson Beckett John Marino on the way; his siblings, Linda (Rick, deceased) Bowers, Pat (Lori) Marino, Terri (Greg, deceased) Adams, and Anne (Jack) Warner, along with many nieces and nephews that adored him. He is proceeded in death by his parents, John and Margaret Marino; his siblings, Jeanette Sprunt and Robert (Mary) Ogilvie.

A Celebration of Life will be held on September 30, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. MST at 3150 S. 6400 W. West Valley, UT, and a Celebration in Overton, NV at a later date. The Family would like to express their gratitude to Mesa View Hospice, and their nurses; Heather and Amber, for their special care and kindness.
