Nedra Lee Daily, 79, passed away on January 16, 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Nedra was born on February 16, 1944 in Rockville, Utah to Leo Hall Canfield and Cora Norene Demille Canfield. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and grew closer to her faith in her last years. Family was the most important to Nedra. She was always gathering her family for reunions, vacations, fishing trips and anything else to just be together. She loved being at the lake, water-skiing, riding motorcycles, camping, fishing, and dancing in the kitchen to her favorite old country songs like “The San Antonio Stroll” and “Cole Miner’s Daughter”. She loved all children, definitely more than anything else and spent many years being a day care provider, though she spent more money on the “treats” than she made, but being generous made her happy. Because of her support, compliments, fun songs, puppet shows, and many Facebook messages, she is remembered as “everyone’s grandma”. She liked being “fixed up”, getting her make-up and nails done, and she wanted as much volume in her hair as could be managed and wore the “Beehive” religiously. She had many people care for her as her health declined. Her many grandchildren and adopted grandchildren came to visit. Her daughter and son-in-law, Bobbie and Randy, and her brother-in-law Joe Huddleston, all took care of her and made sure she had everything she needed. She was the favorite with all of our dogs too. She wanted to strangle us each time we added another one to the mix but she was the one that spoiled them as much as the grandkids.
Nedra is survived by her children, Bobbie (Randy) Kuehn and Robbie (Barb) Wright; her grandchildren or “little angels” Amanda (Gina) Young, Robyn (Chad) Edmonson; Chrissy Wright and Charles Arslangiray, Joline (Josh) Lovett, Samantha (Donny) Roberts, Cole (Jessamine) Kuehn, Austin (Kryssta) Wright and Randy (Karen) Meadows; her many adopted grandchildren; her great-grandchildren Lia, Wyatt, Rylee, Aevalee, Paislee, Jameson, Lexie, Trent, Xander, Jax, Kailynn, Aiden, Katerina, Ana, Axel, Karla, Terra, and Trissa; her sister-in-law, Donna Canfield; and her brother-in-law, Joe Huddleston. She also has numerous cousins, nieces and nephews that she loved so much. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Cora Canfield; her brother, Brad Canfield; and her sister, Noreen Huddleston.
We are so blessed for the time we had with her and we’re gonna miss our Snook, Grams and GG.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Thank you to everyone that has called, text, come by, brought food, and kept us all in their prayers. The family invites you to leave a message or memory in their Guest Book at www.moapavalleymortuary.com.
