Paula Joan Johnson

Paula Jean Johnson, 68, passed away on February 19, 2026 in her home in Overton, NV. Paula was born on July 16, 1957 in San Diego, CA to Paul and Barbara Stevens George. She married Jack Johnson on May 17, 1989.

Paula was a full personality with a heart of gold. She was a “mom” to lots of adopted kids. She took care of the people around her. She was a volunteer fire fighter and EMT for twenty years with Station 73. She worked as a school bus driver in Moapa Valley and sold insurance with Farmers. She worked construction with Gary Leavitt. Paula loved crocheting, reading, gardening and her dogs. She was dynamic, she knew how to have a fun time, and spoke up for what she felt was right.

Paula is survived by her husband, Jack Johnson; her children, Danielle Holtz, Jessica Holtz-Hall, Victoris Holtz-Necas, Jeremiah Johnson, Joshua Johnson, Jacilyn (Brandon) Johnson and Jessica (Johnny) Rodriguez; her eight grandchildren; her mother, Barbara George; and her sister, Penny Niemeyer. She is preceded in death by her father, Paul George.
