Peggy Jo (Robison) Ross, 80, passed away on August 1, 2025, in St. George, UT. Peggy was born on November 18, 1944, in Overton, NV to Arnold joseph Hannig and Myrle Louise Leavitt. Peggy married Joseph Clark Robison on Oct 26, 1963, in the St. George LDS Temple. She and Clark had three children together and were married until his passing on Sept 7, 1997. She later married Charles H. Ross on October 27, 2002, in Mesquite, NV. She and Charlie traveled often, and loved taking cruises together. They loved the ballroom dance nights on the ship. Peggy loved sewing and quilting when she was home and getting together with her friends.

Peggy and Clark spent the bulk of their married life in Mesquite raising their family. Clark was a police officer, first with the Clark County Sheriff’s Office and then over 20 years with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Meanwhile, Peggy worked nearly 30 years in accounting, bookkeeping and office administration at one of Mesquite’s first casinos, followed by several years at the local telephone company, and finishing with another several years at the Overton Power District office in Mesquite.

She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved her time serving as a Young Women’s Camp Counselor for many, many summer camps on Kolob mountain.

Peggy was warm and caring and loved to take care of her friends and family. She was the life of the party and loved to laugh and joke around. She was known for being fiercely loyal to her loved ones.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Charles Ross; her son, Randy (Paige) Robison; her eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and her sister ElRae. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Clark Robison; her daughters, Ronda Lynn and DeeAnna; her parents, and her brother Jerry.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, Aug 9, 2025, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Bunkerville Chapel. The Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. The interment will follow at the Mesquite City Hillside Cemetery.
