Phyllis Gormley

Phyllis Ann Gormley Ramos Phyllis Ann Gormley Ramos passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at her home in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born on July 5, 1973, in St. George, Utah, to Aristeo Nunez and Patricia Kash Ramos.

Her mother passed away when Phyllis was six years old. Phyllis spent her early childhood in Mesquite, Nevada. Following her mother’s passing, she lived with her grandparents in Kentucky. In 2008, she returned to the West, living in Overton near family for a short time before settling in Las Vegas. Phyllis enjoyed working as a slot technician, playing Keno, and spending time with her family. She loved cooking, family barbecues, and meeting new people. She had a pleasant sense of humor and cherished the time she was able to spend with her father.

Phyllis will be lovingly remembered by her son, Trevor, of Las Vegas; her three sisters and one brother: Lilia Ramos of Las Vegas; Elvira Ramos of Logandale; Jorge & (Katherine) Ramos of Las Vegas; and Linda & (Miguel) Montero of Florida; along with other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

Visitation will be Friday, September 25, 2026, from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. at the Moapa Valley Mortuary, 5090 N. Moapa Valley Blvd., Logandale, NV. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in her honor on Friday, September 25, 2026, at 2 p.m. at the St. John’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Logandale Cemetery.
