Randall (Randy) Lane Henderson, 63, passed away on March 14, 2023. Randy was born on May 5, 1959, in Casper, WY to Rodney Laverne Henderson and Rosalie Claire Larson. His family later moved to Cortez, CO, and then Willis, TX, where he graduated from high school and joined the police academy. He became a guard at the Huntsville State Prison before joining the Texas Forest Service as a firefighter. He had a huge heart and gave back to the community serving at the Willis Fire Station as a volunteer for fifteen years, rising to the position of Lieutenant. During this time he married Melinda, and they raised two children, Dori and Rodney (Drew). They were later divorced. Randy moved to Grand Junction, CO in 2002 and worked at the Delta Correctional Center. He met Karrie Shaw, and they moved to Littlefield, AZ where he currently worked as a security guard for the Virgin River Casino and Hotel. He and Karrie were later married in Las Vegas, NV on April 1, 2014. They raised their dog, Lady, until she passed.

Randy being an avid outdoorsman, loved being in the sun, whether he was fishing, hunting, or gardening. He enjoyed collecting all types of items, but his favorites were rose rocks, scorpions, flashlights, and knives. He loved bowling and along with Karrie was in a local bowling league. No matter where Randy went or ended up, he was always the sunshine on a rainy day for everyone who knew him. His positive attitude and gratefulness for the luck he had were seen every day. Randy was the backbone of his family and friends, known for giving the best hugs. He was grateful for the many wonderful people in his life.
