He was born on April 28, 1937 in Charleston, South Carolina, to Robert Emmett O’Neill, Sr. and Rebecca Louise Spencer O’Neill. On April 25, 1967 he married the love of his life, Marlene Davis, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Bob grew up in Charleston where he developed a deep love for the ocean while his grandfather worked as a lighthouse caretaker. He proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict and was stationed in England and Korea, serving as a flight engineer.

Together they were blessed with three beautiful daughters and built a life centered on faith, family, and hard work. With their young family, they moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where they opened Regal Upholstery and Drapery in 1974. Through dedication and perseverance, they established a thriving family business that continues to operate today while also creating a beautiful life together filled with love and cherished memories.
Bob was a gifted and talented artist who especially loved painting ocean landscapes, portraits, and scenic views. His artwork reflected his lifelong connection to the sea. He was a devoted husband and father who cherished hosting and entertaining friends and family, whether at home or at the lake.
