Sidnia Ann Schreiber

Sidnia Ann Schreiber, 88, passed away on April 17, 2026 in her home in Moapa, NV. Ann was born on February 22, 1938 in Mount Dora, FL to Herbert Whitehead and Violet Banks.

Ann was a hard worker, and as a single mother for much of her children’s lives, she worked hard to provide for them. She worked as a Dispatcher for the Moapa Band of Paiutes and as a Post Master Relief for the Moapa Post Office for over twenty years. She served her community as an EMT for Station 72 for many years and on the Moapa Town Board for twenty years. She organized the Non-profit, Muddy River Regional Environmental Impact Alleviation Committee to coordinate with Forest Service to clear the many tamarisk trees draining the Muddy River. She loved animals and rode horses well into her 70’s.

Ann is survived by her children, Tim (Sherry) Jenkins, Mike (Theresa) Jenkins, and Jaimee (Dallas) Weatherill; her fourteen grandchildren; her great-grandchildren; and her great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her sisters, Betty, Ruth, and Helen.
