Steven Eric Anderson was born December 8, 1959 in Hereford, Texas to Kendon Otto Anderson and Karma Larsen. He was the seventh of their eight children. They grew up on their farm in Hereford, Texas until he was about sixteen and then they moved to Salem, Utah. Steve attended Spanish Fork High School in Spanish Fork, Utah where he was a member of the band. He attended Texas Chiropractic college in Pasadena, Texas obtaining his Doctorate in Chiropractics. In May of 1995, Steve opened Virgin Valley Chiropractic in Mesquite, Nevada and cared deeply about his patients.
He loved family and spent lots of time traveling to visit family members. He enjoyed woodworking
and drafting his own house, garage, building or property plans, Dr. Pepper, ATV’s, old movies and
guns. He served as a scout leader for many years and was a recipient of the Silver Beaver Award which is the highest award a scout leader can achieve. He loved listening to his children and grandchildren play music or sing.
Steve was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and loved the gospel and the blessing it brought to his family. He had many church callings including serving as a member of the high council.
He was married to Tamera Worthen in May 1980 until 1989. They had three children, Amber Marie,
Derrick Steven and Daniel Trevor. They lived in the mid-west area including, Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas. In 1989, he met and rekindled his love for Teri Ann Honseler Wright and they were married on January 6, 1990. Steve inherited six children: Karlie Jo, Brandon Dean, Eric Barton, Troy Bevan, Jed Paul, Rosena Larene Yvonne. They went on to have two more children, Tyler Hans and EriAnn Yvonne.
Steve was soft-hearted, he would listen, guide and give instructions when and where needed. He gave wonderful teddy bear hugs, that made you feel loved and cared about, whenever you saw him.
He loved all of his children, grand-children and great grand-children; he would light up when they
would come in the room, excited to see and talk to them. He loved playing cards as a family and being a part of each of his children’s life. He is very loved and missed.
Steven is survived by his wife, Teri Ann; his brothers and sisters: Terry Ottosen, Carolyn Hoskins, Darla Anderson, Fred and Jalane Anderson, Becky and Rick Lee, Paul and Vicky Anderson, Tim and Tina Anderson; his children: Karlie and Chad Dalton, Amber and David Brian, Brandon and Kristina Wright, Derrick and Cassie Anderson, Eric Wright, Troy and Stacey Wright, Daniel Anderson, Jed and Brandee Wright, Tyler and Jessie Anderson, EriAnn and Homer Miramontes. He has 9 grand-children and 1 great grand-child and 2 on the way. He is proceeded in death by his parents Kendon and Karma Anderson, Chris Ottosen, Daniel Anderson, Lynn Hoskins and Rosena Wright.
