William John “Bill” Turner, Jr., age 68, died Thursday, March 25, 2021 in Mesquite, Nevada. He was born December 23, 1952 in San Francisco, California to William John Sr. and Joan Adele Geiger Turner. On June 9, 1978 he married Myong Ki Kim in Korea.
Bill grew up in California until moving with his family to Hawaii as he entered High School. Following graduation, he entered the US Air Force where he served in the 554 Red Horse Squadron working in construction. He moved to Bunkerville, Nevada in 1983 where he worked as a Food and Beverage Manager for the Peppermill;later for the Oasis, for 24 years. He loved his morning walks, listening to classic rock, traveling and time with friends.
Survivors include his wife, Kim and their daughter, Joan (Brian) Atkins of Reno, NV. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Jessie; two sisters and one brother that all died in infancy.
