Edward Taylor

Edward Gerald Taylor, 84, passed away in Overton, NV on July 20, 2022. Eddie was born on August 21, 1937 in Chicago, IL to Jerry Taylor and Nina Richards. Being raised in Chicago, Eddie became a fan of many of the city’s sports teams: the Bears, White Sox’s, and the Black Hawks, and loved playing sports with his family. As graduated from High School, he joined the United States Army, and was honorably discharged. He then joined the Union Pacific Railroad and worked for over thirty years. He was a hard worker, and very smart, and was able to retire and enjoy. He loved playing golf year round. He met Sherry Daggett in 2008, and they had a wonderful relationship. They often traveled and went on many cruises together.

He is survived by his partner, Sherry Daggett; Sherry’s sister, Dedra Plummer; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his sisters, Patsy Ryan and Maureen LaRusso.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at 10:40 a.m. at the Southern Nevada Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Blvd, Boulder City, NV 89005. The family invites you to leave a message or memory in their Guest Book at www.moapavalleymortaury.com.
