Jane Marie (Olsen) Osterman

Jane Marie Olsen Osterman, 60 years of age, passed January 5, 2021 at 4:00 a.m. in Mesquite, Nevada.  She was born August 5, 1960 in Rock Springs, Wyoming to Norman and Veda (Briggs) Olsen.  She married Keith Osterman on October 6, 1993 at Adventure Inn Wedding Chapel in Reno, Nevada.

Jane grew up in Rock Springs, WY and Big Piney, WY.  Jane has lived in Ohio, Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada, Washington, Texas, Louisiana, California, North Dakota and Alaska during her life.  She worked for BK&E Traveling Construction, as a Bus driver, Special Education teacher, substitute teacher, foster parent, Insurance Agent, Bookkeeper, Banker and a Pipeline Technician.  She loved snowmobiling, cooking, crafting, traveling, fishing, going on adventures, and going riding with her husband and friends in the side-by-side.  She had a great love for people and animals and enjoyed helping those that she knew.  She also had a special love for kids and animals.  Jane and her two dogs, Emma and Abby, will be missed.

She is survived by her husband; Keith Wayne Osterman, Mesquite, NV; her children, Melissa Brown, Lyman, WY; Ranae Hurd, Fort Collins, CO; Will Stofferahn, Rock Springs, WY; Serena Osterman, Evanston, WY; her grandchildren; Christopher Osterman, Tyler Osterman, Jason Osterman Fisher, Kaylin Brown, Makayla Brown, Axel Robinson, Ashton Denniston, Skyler Stofferahn, Lexi Stofferahn, her sisters; Diane Stauner, Middleton, ID; Margie Olsen, Nampa, ID; and one brother; Mike Olsen, Kellogg, ID.  She is preceded in death by her parents; Norman and Veda Olsen, brothers; Tracey Olsen and Dave (Oly) Olsen.
