Joan Delores Dennis

Joan Delores Dennis, age 89, passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at her home in Mesquite, Nevada surrounded with love by her daughter, Diane, son-in-law, Bruce, grandchildren, Christo, Kat, Mikaela, great grandson, Xayne and her dog, Bentley.Joan was born May 26, 1931 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Earl and Marjorie Seifert Walters. On August 25, 1956 she married Richard Edward Dennisin Menomonie, Wisconsin. He preceded her in death on December 4, 2011. Joan grew up in Minnesota and Wisconsin.   Shortly after her marriage to Richard, they relocated to San Jose, California and built a home in Saratoga, California where they raised their children.
Joan embraced being a mother and found great joy in her life as a full time homemaker. This brought great blessings to the entire family. She loved to
play Bridge and the many friendships that were associated with her Bridge club.   Joan and Richard traveled the world, with cruising being one of their favorite pleasures.
Survivors include two sons and one daughter: David (Tina) of Chattanooga, TN;
Douglas (Marti) of Los Altos, CA; Diane (Bruce) Gil of Cedar City, UT; five
grandchildren and two great grandchildren; one brother and two sisters: Jennifer
(Dick) Anderson of Lake Havasu, AZ; Jacque (John Branton) Walters of Jackson, CA
and Bud (Ruthie) Walters of Pawcutuck, CT.   She was preceded in death by one son, Daniel; two sisters, Jean Savera and Jan Walters.
Memorial services will be held at Madronia Cemetary in Saratoga, California at a later date.
