Mark Henry Selig, 66, passed away on February 5, 2023 in his home in Logandale, NV. Mark was born on April 22, 1956 in Sunnyville, CA to Frank Henry Selig and Patricia Jean Long. When Mark was two years old, his family moved to Las Vegas, NV where Mark lived until moving to Logandale, NV in October of 2022. He attended and graduated from Western High School and went to work for Vans Security in 1977. That company was purchased by Detek Alarms in 1979, and Mark became an Alarm System Installer. Even better, Mark met Deana Lewallen and after two years of dating were married on August 16, 1981 in Las Vegas, NV. Mark was a dedicated employee, and continued as a technician for nearly forty years, before retiring in 2016. He still worked to train new installers.
Mark had a love for shooting and fishing, and going out to play golf. He loved to cook, and would often be grilling for the many family gatherings. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, beating them at board games, or building model airplanes and train sets.
Mark is survived by his wife, Deana Selig; his children, Jason Lewallen, Chris (Lori) Selig, Mark Selig, and Andrea (Nick) Otomo; his eight grandchildren, Navee, Gage, Paul, Journey, Collin, Shelby, Mark, and Christian. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Patricia Selig; and his brothers, Rick and Karl.
