Rita Wagner

Rita Wagner, age 79, died Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at her winter home in Overton, Nevada.  She was born August 18, 1943 in Sidney, Nebraska to Frank Andrew and Kathryn G. Petersen Rasmussen.  On November 4, 1962 she married Wayne William Wagner in Kimball, Nebraska. 
Rita grew up in Kimball, but lived most of her adult life in Saratoga, Wyoming.  She loved to be mother and devoted her life to her family.  She enjoyed handicrafts, sewing and crocheting.  In her later years she found great joy in traveling with her sweetheart.  In 1997 they started spending winters in Overton, Nevada where they made many new friends.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne of Saratoga, WY; two daughters: Rhonda (Dan) Fink of Colorado Springs, CO; Pamela (Jerad Wilson) Coffee of Alliance, NE; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one sister, Barbara Barker of Kimball and one brother, Allen (Connie) Rasmussen of Chadron, NE.  She was preceded in death by one brother, Lee.
Graveside services will be Monday, February 20, 2023 at 2 p.m. at the Kimball Cemetery in Kimball, Nebraska.  Visitation will be from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. at the Cantrell Funeral Home prior to the graveside.  Friends and family are invited to sign our guest book at www.moapavalleymortuary.com
