Roger Lee Camara

Mesquite, Nevada, Roger Lee Camara, 77, passed away May 7, 2022 at home. He was born May 23, 1944, to Joseph and Helen Camara, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. 

Roger attended University of Lincoln before entering the Army. Upon discharge he worked the finance business, where he met his wife Crystal, then entered corporate and educational lighting sales for Sylvania and retired as a district manager for Osram.  

He is survived by his wife, Crystal, children Suzanne and Bill, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, and brother Steven.  

Services will be held Saturday, June 4, 2022, at 11am, at the Mesquite Lutheran Church, 450 Turtleback Road. The family requests no flowers, but donations may be sent to Mesa View Hospice, Mesa View Home Hospice, St. Jude Hospital, or Best Friends animal sanctuary. There will be no viewing or internment.
