We are grateful for the gift that Katherine was here in Moapa Valley. She was a bright light and brought sunshine to all she met. Some of the best words to describe her are, lovely, classy, fun, vivacious, loving mother, dear friend and spiritual woman. She could light up a room with her smile. One of the truly great women of our community.

SIster Hanig was my seminary teacher and a neighbor, ward member for years. I am sorry to hear of her passing. I still clearly remember some of the lessons she taught in seminary, particularly the one where she pulled out the Mormonad with the roses and (the daisy?). SIncere condolences to her family and comfort at this time.

I love sister Hannig. She always had a warm smile and was so interested in what I had to say. I was in the singles branch when she and Bro Hannig led the branch and I had so many fond memories of those summers I spent in the branch. I also loved to attend her Sunday School classes when I was visiting my parents ward. I will miss her so much. You are all in my prayers.
